ESRI DATA
ArcAtlas:
A unique atlas of the world on CD-ROM, ArcAtlas: Our Earth is a largecollection of maps and information about the earth's people, plants, animals, and their various environments and economies. The atlas includes more than 40 thematic maps of each continent in the form of ARC/INFO coverages and ArcView projects, more than 100 space images and photographs, plus extensive on-line narrative. Scale/resolution = 1:25,000,000ArcScene World Tour
: ArcScene World Tour is a collection of fourteen SPOT® satellite images of different locations around the world. The images cover a variety of natural and human-influenced environments such as Paris, Cairo and the Nile River Valley, the South American rain forest and Antarctica. The use of ArcView Data publisher software, interactive text and annotated views create a tour of the World.ArcUSA:
ArcUSA 1:2M provides maps for the lower 48 US states. Features include state and county boundaries, hydrography, roads, railroads, place names, and federal lands. Index layers include latitude/longitude grids, a Landsat satellite scene index, and USGS quadrangle indexes for 1:24,000-, 1:100,000-, and 1:250,000-scale maps. Attributes for states and counties include 1990 census data; socioeconomic, demographic and health statistics (from the mid-1980s); agricultural product and market value statistics; local government finance statistics; and general land use and soils information. Also includes 1:25 million-scale map data.ArcWorld
: ArcWorld 1:3M contains features for the land areas of the world, including maps of 1992 country boundaries, roads, railroads, rivers, lakes, and major cities; and index maps such as latitude-longitude grids, a Landsat satellite image scene index, and others. ArcWorld 1:3M also has more than 500 attributes for countries covering demographics, education, economic indicators, food production and nutrition, health, the labor force, and natural resources. Many of the attributes are present for multiple years so you can analyze trends.Digital Chart of the World:
The Digital Chart of the World is a worldwide basemap of coastlines, international boundaries, cities, airports, elevations, roads, railroads, water features, cultural landmarks, and much more. It is the most detailed global database on the market providing consistent treatment of geographic information worldwide, and is the best source of data for many areas of the globe. The database totals 1.7 gigabytes in size and comes on 4 CD-ROMs. More than 200 attributes are organized into 17 thematic layers with text annotation for cities, mountains, lakes, and other geographic features.US Street Database:
Includes data for over 31 million road segments across the United States as well as many other landmark features needed to produce quality maps with very little effort. Using address information and the ArcView GIS geocoding engine, you can locate a single address on a map or locate lists of addresses to map distribution. It is also easy to match, rematch, and interactively edit addresses for error correction.LOJIC GIS Database
Use of the LOJIC GIS database is granted to members providing they agree to the terms and conditions set forth in the LOJIC End User License Agreement located in Section 6 of this document. Access to the LOJIC database will be provided via a network account to the Center for GIS data server. You will be contacted with login information and instructions upon receipt of this form.
